Blair Morgan - Morgan SolicitorsBlair Morgan

Senior partner, Blair Morgan, graduated from Edinburgh University in 1968 with an LLB. He undertook his legal apprenticeship with J & F Anderson WS and qualified as a solicitor in 1970. Blair joined Macbeth Currie & Co in Dunfermline as a legal assistant in 1970, and was assumed partner in 1972. In 1993, Blair decided to set up his own practice, The Morgan Law Partnership to concentrate on his particular specialities. Blair originally specialised in residential and commercial conveyancing, acting for several builders and property dealers but thereafter he acted for several well-known clients in the music and sports industries. He currently holds a Player's Agent Licence from the S.F.A. and he acts for several international players and football clubs, and has been involved in many high profile transfer deals.

Craig Bennet - Morgan SolicitorsCraig Bennet

Former employee of Macbeth Currie & Co, Craig joined Morgans as a Legal Assistant in 1994 becoming an Associate in 1996. He then became a Partner with effect from 1st September 1997. Craig graduated from Edinburgh University in 1990 before joining Macbeth Currie in 1991. Craig specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing work as well as the preparation of wills, executries, guardianships and general commercial business.

Claire L. Morgan - Morgan SolicitorsClaire L. Morgan

Claire joined Morgans in 1999 as an assistant Solicitor and was assumed as a Partner. She deals predominantly with residential conveyancing work. Claire graduated from Strathclyde University and trained with John G. Gray, Edinburgh and Thorntons, Dundee. She also has a Management Business Degree from Napier University.

Graham J. Basten - Morgan SolicitorsGraham J. Basten

Graham was born in Kent in 1963, graduated from Reading University in 1986 with BA Hons (2:1) in German and Economics. Thereafter he worked with a leading German Bank before moving to Scotland to undertake his law degree in 1988. Graham studied at Glasgow University where he completed his LLB and Diploma in Legal Practice. He received Third prize in the year. He trained at Shepherd & Wedderburn in Edinburgh before moving to Fife. He was a Partner at Johnston & Herron from 1998 - 2001. He joined Morgans as Court Partner in 2001.

Russel McPhate - Morgan SolicitorsRussel McPhate

Russel graduated from Strathclyde University in 1986 and after completing the post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice trained with Carruthers & Co in Lerwick, Shetland. He moved to Fife in 1990, became a partner in Dunfermline firm C-A Petrie in 1999, then a sole practitioner from 2000 until joining Morgans in 2003. Russel deals predominantly with court matters including matrimonial, criminal, and all types of civil litigation.

John Morris - Morgan SolicitorsJohn Morris

John graduated from Dundee University in 1994 and after completing the Diploma in Legal Practice he then trained with A.C. Morrison & Richards in Aberdeen. He then moved to Lochgelly in 1997 and thereafter to McKay & Norwell in Edinburgh until joining Morgans in 2003. John is primarily involved in residential conveyancing.

Donna Whyte - Morgan SolicitorsDonna Whyte

Having graduated from Dundee University in 1991 with LLB (Hons) where she also obtained her Diploma in Legal Practice, Donna completed her training in Perth. She worked with Macbeth Currie before taking up a position with Ledingham Chalmers in Edinburgh. Donna specialised in residential conveyancing and development work for a major housebuilder before taking up a position with Warners. Donna joined Morgans in 2005 where she continues to specialise in residential conveyancing and development work.
